Use Entrance 5 for accessThe first of its kind in Baltimore County, the Pediatric Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit at MedStar Franklin Square features 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a week pediatrician staffing, so parents and physicians can be sure children are treated by expert staff specifically trained in handling children’s healthcare needs.

The specially designed unit allows us to care for patients in a child-friendly environment with increased nursing flexibility, which allows pediatric nursing care for both emergency and admitted patients. Our goal is to provide the highest quality care while coordinating with your primary care physician.
