Christopher You, MD

General Surgeon, Bariatrics, Co-Medical Director, Robotic Surgery Center

Dr. You is a board-certified surgeon with extensive experience in minimally-invasive bariatric and general surgery, including the daVinci® surgical procedure. Dr. You completed his fellowship in minimally-invasive and weight loss surgery at Sinai Hospital and Northwest Medical Center. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia and the MedStar Union Memorial Hospital Residency Program. A published author and speaker, Dr. You has appeared on multiple radio and television programs discussing weight loss surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and is passionate about educating and supporting his patients to ensure they receive the best possible results. Lisa M. Savoie, MD

Colorectal Surgeon, Co-Medical Director, Robotic Surgery Center

Dr. Savoie is a board-certified colorectal surgeon with more than 20 years of experience and advanced training in da Vinci® robotic surgical system. She joins the surgical services team at MedStar Franklin Square as the Co-Medical Director of the Robotic Surgery Center. Dr. Savoie obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in general surgery, also at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, followed by her fellowship in colorectal surgery at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. She comes to us from Greater Baltimore Medical Center where she served as the Assistant Director of the Colon and Rectal Residency Program. Avishai Meyer, MD

Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgeon

Dr. Meyer completed his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv, Israel and his residency in general surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Meyer specializes in general and bariatric surgery and will join the Surgical and Bariatric Practice at MedStar Franklin Square. He is passionate about educating bariatric patients to achieve optimal outcomes. Dr. Meyer is an active member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and Fellow of the Southwest Surgical Society. Nathaniel McElhaney, MD

Thoracic Surgeon

Dr. McElhaney earned his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He completed an internship at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by a general surgery residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. He specializes in the treatment of lung and esophageal cancers and conditions. Nicola London, MD

Dr. London graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine and completed both her internship and residency program at MedStar Franklin Square. She is board certified and is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has won numerous research awards including the Award for Ultrasonic Prediction of IUGR. She specializes in obstetrics and gynecological medicine for women in adolescence to post-menopause, as well as higher risk pregnancies and family planning. She practices both in Bel Air and Dundalk. Leigh Matlaga, MD

Dr. Matlaga completed her undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and received her medical degree from Yale University. Upon completing her residency at Duke University she held a position as Assistant Professor with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Conrad Duncan, MD, JD, FACS, FACOG

Urogynecology

Dr. Conrad Duncan completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College and received his medical degree from Yale University. He completed his post-graduate medical training at Georgetown University. He received his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University in 1995. Dr. Duncan served in the National Health Service Corps for eight years and was Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology during his last four years of service. Dr. Duncan was an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas before assuming his current position as director of the Mid-Atlantic Incontinence Center and the Mid-Atlantic Institute for Minimally Invasive Surgery located in Baltimore. E. Cristian Campian, MD, PhD

Urogynecology

Dr. Campian is a board-certified surgeon specializing in minimally invasive urogynecological surgery. Dr. Campian completed his medical degree at the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. He completed both his PhD in pharmacology and toxicology and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Louisville, Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Campian completed his fellowship in urogynecology, pelvic reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive surgery at the Center for Pelvic Health in Franklin, Tennessee. He is a published author and a recipient of numerous awards. Dr. Campian specializes in minimally invasive urogynecological surgery including the daVinci robotic procedure and the treatment of chronic pain, interstitial cystitis and vulvodynia. Jayant Uberoi, MD

Urology

Dr. Uberoi is a graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency program at Boston University Medical Center followed by his fellowship in endourology at Hackensack University Medical Center. A member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society and the Society of Sexual Medicine, Dr. Uberoi has co-authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals on subjects including laparoscopic and robotic surgery, erectile dysfunction and complications of urologic surgery.
