Sports Medicine

MedStar Franklin Square Sports Medicine is an innovative new physician group that includes Sports Medicine physicians from multiple backgrounds including, pediatrics, orthopedic surgery and family medicine. The goal of MedStar Franklin Square Sports Medicine is to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical conditions related to exercise and sports. All of our physicians, including our orthopedic surgeons, provide excellent non-surgical care for all sports medicine conditions. If surgery is indicated, our surgeons provide superior surgical care through the most up-to-date techniques. Our physicians are located at several community locations throughout eastern Baltimore County in order to provide our patients with the best and most convenient care.

Sports Medicine focuses on the medical and therapeutic aspects of sports participation and physical activity. We all are athletes from the weekend warrior, to the high school and recreational sports participants. Anyone at any age can still have an injury which prevents them from participating in the activities which bring them joy. Our group of specialists focus on chronic and acute problems of the:
